Welcome to Louise Sheehan Counselling & Psychotherapy
In a fast-paced world, it can help to put time aside to explore aspects of your life that are not as you wished them to be. This could involve: social/family/personal/professional relationships and dynamics, feelings or thoughts that are difficult to experience, struggles to cope with day-to-day situations, past experiences which have impacted you or new found circumstances which are challenging. I offer a compassionate confidential opportunity to reflect on topics you feel are relevant in your life, be that past, present or a combination of both.
Services
Talking through your experiences with a counsellor can be different to talking with friends or family. I offer a warm non-judgmental place where you can explore feelings, emotions or thoughts which might be difficult to experience or share in other contexts of your life. Through our conversation and time together, you may form a better understanding of yourself and how you relate to those around you. There can be the opportunity to nourish and enhance aspects of yourself which support you going forward, alongside identifying and recognizing old patterns and behaviors which no longer serve you.
About Louise
I have completed a BSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy and I am a Pre-Accredited Member of the IACP. I work using a Humanistic Integrative framework. This means I blend a combination of approaches depending on what best suits each client. I predominantly use Person Centered, Gestalt and Existential methods.
